The design of the body changed and now incorporates a built-in lens hood and uses E55 filters instead of the older Series VI. This lens has a ROM Cam mount. ROM Cam lenses have a stepped cam like on the 3rd-Cam plus electronic contacts. They are compatible with all R-series cameras. The electronic contacts are only supported on the R8\/R9. They will not fit Leicaflex cameras.
