At launch, the M6 was only available with a 0.72x viewfinder. This model from 1997 introduced a 0.85x viewfinder making it more suited for lenses 50mm or longer. This change also removed the 28mm framelines. The 0.85x M6 has framelines for 35\/135mm, 50\/75mm, and 90mm in the viewfinder and was only available in black.
