Canon Macro Auto Ring - AccessoryThe Canon Macro Auto Ring is a lens adapter designed to be used with the Canon Double Cable Release for preserving automatic diaphgram coupling when non-automatic accessories are inserted between a Canon single-reflex camera and an FD or FL lens. Attaching it to the lens is especially useful in close-up photography and photomacrography for automatic diaphragm coupling when using such accessories as a bellows or extension tubes which do not have automatic aperture lever or when mounting the lens in reverse with a Macrophoto Coupler.
