Manual focus wide normal lens made for R-mount 35mm SLR cameras, initially introduced by Leica in 1984. It uses floating lens elements for optimal performance throughout the entire focus range, has a built-in lens hood, and a rubberized focusing ring. This lens with a 3rd Cam (R Cam) mount became available in 1992. 3rd Cam lenses only have the third stepped cam as seen on the 3-Cam version. They are compatible with R-series cameras only and will not fit the Leicaflex cameras. Metal body available in black (11144).
