Leica Rangefinder Lens
Leica Rangefinder Lens
Average Certified condition price
Manual focus wide normal lens made for LTM M39 thread mount 35mm rangefinder cameras by Leica starting in 1958. A total of 5289 units of these lenses were made for the older screw mount cameras, with most being made for the then-new M bayonet mount. It accepts E39 or 42 mm slip-on filters and the IROOA lens hood. An original thread mount SIMOO can be identified by the lack of a small screw hole next to the bayonet signifying a bayonet issue lens where a factory-fitted M-mount bayonet has been removed. Metal body available in silver (SIMOO / 11006).
