Manual focus normal lens made for M-mount rangefinder cameras introduced by Leica in March 2003. This is a special version of the Summicron made to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the production of the first 50mm f2 Summicron back in 1953. It was released in a small batch of only 1000 units. It resembles the "rigid" Type II Summicron in its design, but is optically identical to the Type V. Metal body available in silver (11615).
