Manual focus telephoto lens made for R-mount 35mm SLR cameras introduced by Leica in 1980. Leica made two versions of this lens. This is the first version identifiable by its name ring around the lens barrel, considerably smaller minimum focus distance of 1.7m, and use of E67 filters. The optical formula also changed. This lens has a 3-Cam mount. 3-Cam lenses have two sloped cams and a third stepped cam and are compatible with all Leicaflex and R-series cameras. Metal body available in black (11925).
