There's minor haze and separation in the viewfinder that won't affect use. It shows minor wear, including a small spot of rust near the viewfinder, but otherwise works well.

The camera has slightly worn through to brass in a few spots, rather than silver. It comes with a 3D-printed eyecup to prevent scratches when using glasses.

Manual focus M-mount 35mm rangefinder camera released by Leica in 1967. This camera replaced the M3 and M2, combining their features into one. It has a 0.72x magnification viewfinder with frame lines for 35mm, 50mm, 90mm, and 135mm focal lengths. It was the first camera to feature Leica’s quick-load mechanism and quicker rewinding knob. This black paint camera does not have a serial number, and thus its authenticity cannot be verified against Leica records. It's unclear whether this camera uses original spare parts or was repainted. Metal body available in black paint (10402).
