Staff Notes

The viewfinder LCDs have major bleed that affects use. There's rust and corrosion residue around several buttons, the viewfinder, and the lens mount bayonet. The hot shoe does not work. The film door is a bit stiff and hard to open. There's minor haze and moderate dust in the viewfinder that do somewhat affect use. It's really quite beat up, but the actual camera functions are working within tolerances.

Nikon F4 - Camera

Autofocus F-mount 35mm SLR released by Nikon in 1988. This is the base F4 with the MB-20 battery grip. The body has matrix metering, weather sealing, interchangeable grips, finders, and focusing screens. It will work natively with AI and AI-S lenses (including matrix metering!) as well as autofocus lenses with aperture rings. Later autofocus lenses without aperture rings can only be used in program and shutter priority modes and without image stabilization (VR). Metal and plastic body available in black with a red accent.
