Autofocus wide-short telephoto zoom lens for Canon EF DSLRs made by Tamron introduced in February 2012. Uses vibration control (VC) for optic image stabilization, has a ring-type ultrasonic drive (USD) for autofocus motor and is weather sealed. Has a AF/MF switch, a zoom lock and a VC ON/OFF switch. Plastic & metal body available in black.
