These are cameras using digital image sensors without interchangeable lenses. The size of the camera, sensor, and lens may vary greatly, but these cameras are defined by not having interchangeable lenses.

Some have huge zoom lenses and large grips, some are designed to be as compact and easy to use as possible. Some have large sensors, some have sensors similar in size to the highest-end smartphones.
