Manual focus telephoto lens made for F-mount SLRs by Nikon starting in 1975. This K version is a transition model between Nikon's Pre-AI and AI eras. It features the external design of later AI versions but lacks the AI ridge. There's no "K" anywhere on the lens. This lens shares an optical formula with the previous Nikkor-Q.C version. It has the bunny ear metering prongs but no AI ridge or AI-S indent so it will only meter properly on older Nikon cameras like the F, F2, and Nikkormat. It may cause issues when mounted on newer cameras. Metal body available in black.
