Staff Notes

The aperture control mechanism does not work properly. This affects exposure in manual mode. P-mode and autoexposure are working as intended. The levers and buttons are a bit stiff. It has some dust inside the viewfinder. The viewfinder eyepiece threads are broken and unusable. The camera is quite dirty.

Nikon F4 - Camera

Autofocus F-mount 35mm SLR released by Nikon in 1988. This is the base F4 with the MB-20 battery grip. The body has matrix metering, weather sealing, interchangeable grips, finders, and focusing screens. It will work natively with AI and AI-S lenses (including matrix metering!) as well as autofocus lenses with aperture rings. Later autofocus lenses without aperture rings can only be used in program and shutter priority modes and without image stabilization (VR). Metal and plastic body available in black with a red accent.
