Manual focus FD-mount 35mm SLR camera released by Canon in 1981. It is a completely new successor to the previous F-1n, which was just a revised F-1. It has a hybrid electromechanical shutter that ensures function even after the battery has run out. It has a suite of accessories, from interchangeable finders and focusing screens to motor winders. Different focusing screens control the type of metering, ranging from average full area to 3% spot metering. The original price (149000 Yen) is the equivalent of 1,530 Euros in 2024.
