Details: Leica M8u (Black, 10701)

Manual focus APS-H M-mount digital rangefinder camera released by Leica in 2006. The M8u is a transition model between the M8 and M8.2. There are a number of upgrades that can be installed in the M8 that would make it an M8u, but the most common one is an upgraded shutter, indicated by the maximum shutter speed on the dial being 1/4000s. Otherwise, the M8u is identical to the standard M8. The viewfinder has a magnification of 0.68x and framelines for 24/35mm, 28/90mm, and 50/75mm. Metal body available in black (10701).
