Manual focus R-mount 35mm SLR introduced by Leica in 1968. This was Leica's first camera to feature behind-the-lens metering, allowing selective metering modes rather than full-scene average metering. Light passes through the semi-transparent main mirror to a secondary mirror and then onto a CdS receptor cell. The camera is compatible with 2-Cam lenses. Metal body available in silver (10011).
