What is the difference between the different Kodak manufacturers?

Historically, Eastman Kodak manufactured Kodak photographic film, while Kodak Alaris handled its marketing and distribution. From the beginning of 2026, Eastman Kodak returned directly to the still film market, ending Kodak Alaris' exclusive distribution rights. As a result, some films manufactured by Eastman Kodak are now entering the market through two different Kodak channels.
