Manual focus telephoto lens made for M-mount rangefinder cameras introduced by Leica in 1980. Leica made many versions of the 9cm/90mm f2 Summicron. This is the third version of the lens. It now have a built-in lens hood, a new 5-element optical formula, and is 250 grams lighter than the earlier version. Two variants are available. The first one uses E49 filters and the second one E55. The lens hood covers the aperture ring on the first model when not in use. This was fixed on the later model. Metal body available in silver (11137).
