Manual focus normal lens made for M-mount rangefinder cameras introduced by Leica in 1995. Leica made four versions of the 50mm f1.4 Summilux that differ in both optical formula and color finishes. This is the fourth version of the lens that is often referred to as Type III, due to the second version being split into v1 and v2. It kept the same optical formula but redesigned the body, introduced a new type of helical focusing allowing it to focus down to 0.7m, and has a built-in lens hood. Metal body available in black.
