Details: Leica 50mm f2 Summicron-R (Type II) (3rd Cam) (11216)

Manual focus normal lens made for R-mount 35mm SLR cameras introduced by Leica in 1976. This is the second version of the lens and was produced by Leitz Canada. It changed the optical formula and features higher contrast and improved flatness of the field. The design of the body changed and now incorporates a built-in lens hood and uses E55 filters instead of the older Series VI. This lens has a 3rd Cam (R Cam) mount. 3rd Cam lenses only have the third stepped cam as seen on the 3-Cam version. They are compatible with R-series cameras only and will not fit the Leicaflex cameras. Metal body available in black (11216).
