Canon AE-1

Manual focus FD mount 35mm SLR released by Canon in 1976. This was the first of Canon's A-series and became one of the most popular consumer SLRs of all time thanks to a very successful marketing campaign. It was also the first 35mm SLR to feature a microprocessor for calculating exposure. The original price (81000 Yen w/ 50mm f1.4 S.S.C.) is the equivalent of around 900 Euros in 2024. Plastic body available in silver and black.
