Staff Notes
It has a few minor scratches on the front and central element as well as faint haze inside with a few larger particles that will not affect image quality. The aperture blades have some wear but move as intended. The lens is otherwise in good working condition.

Manual focus telephoto lens made for M-mount rangefinder cameras introduced by Leica in 1959. Leica made many versions of the 9cm/90mm f2 Summicron. This is the second version of the lens. The design of the lens was updated and experiences differences in finish, knurling, minimum aperture, direction of aperture control, and type of aperture. Lenses from serial number 1651001 have a removable lens head that could be used together with the ZOOEP / 16463 short focus mount on the Visoflex II, IIa, and III. A version with a preset aperture was available as a special order and was specifically designed to be used on the Visoflex system. Metal body available in black (11122).
