Manual focus MD/SR-mount 35mm SLR camera released by Minolta in 1977. It was the first SLR camera with both TTL aperture-priority and shutter-priority automation. This was also the first camera available with Minolta's Acute-Matter focusing screens that would later be used in Hasselblads. It is also known as the XD11 in North America and the XD in Japan. Full metal body available in black and silver finishes.
