Adapter made for adapting Leica M-mount lenses to full-frame or APS-C Sony E-mount digital cameras. The VM-E has a built-in focusing helicoid for focusing the lens beyond its original minimum focusing distance. It is also meant to be used together with the 40mm f2.8 Heliar (VM-E Close Focus Adapter) lens. Maximum extension is 4mm. No electrical contacts. Metal body available in black/silver.
