Manual focus 35mm FD-mount SLR camera released by Canon in 1978. The A-1 features several different auto exposure modes such as shutter priority, aperture priority, and programmed fully-automatic mode. It was the first SLR camera to feature fully programmed auto exposure and the first to have the four standard exposure modes seen in modern digital cameras (PSAM). Metal body available in black.
