Staff Notes

It has a dent on the filter threads. Filters still screw on but with a moderate amount of uneven resistance. The lens is otherwise in good working condition. It has been serviced by Leica in Wetzlar.

Manual focus wide normal lens made for M-mount rangefinder cameras introduced by Leica in 1979. This was the fourth version of the 35mm Summicron. The optical formula was changed again, this time from 6 to 7 elements to yield more uniform contrast and resolution across the image field. Metal body available in black (11310).
