Manual focus M-mount 35mm rangefinder camera introduced by Leica in 1980. This is a special edition made to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the first Leica production (Leica I Model A). It was made in a small batch of 1750 units. The M4 was originally introduced in 1967 and replaced the M3 and M2, combining their features into one. It has a 0.72x magnification viewfinder with frame lines for 35mm, 50mm, 90mm, and 135mm focal lengths. It was the first camera to feature Leica’s quick-load mechanism and quicker rewinding knob. Metal body available in silver (10400).

  • Shutter: Horizontal cloth focal plane, 1s - 1/1000s + B
