Manual focus F mount SLR released by Nikon in 1971. The basic F2 consists of the F2 camera body and DE-1 eye-level prism finder. It improved upon the original Nikon F by increasing the fastest shutter speed, rounding the body corners, adding a hinged film door, and improving compatibility with motor drives. Metal body available in black and silver.
