Staff Notes

There is some dust on the viewfinder and minor wear on the focusing screen and mirror that do not affect use. The light meter underexposes by 1 stop, which can be compensated with the ASA value. It's otherwise working well!

Nikon FE - Camera

Manual focus F-mount 35mm SLR released by Nikon in 1978. It was a replacement for the Nikon EL2 and EL-W. The FE has an electronically-controlled focal plane shutter and is capable of aperture priority auto exposure as well as manual exposure. It will only meter properly with lenses that have the AI ridge and an aperture ring. Metal body available in black & silver.
