Leica 90mm f2.8 Elmarit-R (Type I) (1-Cam) (11229) - Lens

Manual focus telephoto lens made for R-mount 35mm SLR cameras introduced by Leica in 1964. Leica made two versions of this lens. This is the first version that uses Series VII filters and has a multistage built-in lens hood. Lenses after serial number 2809001 use E55 filters and the Elpro 3 close-up attachment instead of the Elpro VIIa. This lens has a 1-Cam mount. 1-Cam lenses have a single sloped cam and are compatible with the SL/SL2 and R-series cameras in stop-down metering mode only. They are not recommended to be used on the R8/R9. Metal body available in black (11229).
