Autofocus AF-mount 35mm SLR camera introduced by Minolta in 1985. This was the first mass-produced SLR with a built-in autofocus system. Before the 7000, AF mechanisms were inside a lens or other accessory. It has +/- 4 stops of exposure compensation. It is also known as the Maxxum 7000 (US) and a-7000 (JP). Plastic body available in black.
