Manual focus M-mount 35mm rangefinder camera introduced by Leica in 1967. This camera replaced the M3 and M2, combining their features into one. It has a 0.72x magnification viewfinder with frame lines for 35mm, 50mm, 90mm, and 135mm focal lengths. It was the first camera to feature Leica’s quick-load mechanism and quicker rewinding knob. This black paint version was only produced in a small batch of fewer than 5000 cameras. Metal body available in black paint (10402).
