Autofocus telephoto push/pull zoom lens made for EF-mount SLR cameras by Canon starting in 1998. It was the first L-series zoom lens to feature image stabilization (IS). It also has Canon's Ultrasonic Motor (USM) for autofocus. The feel of the push-and-pull zoom function can be tightened or loosened according to user preference. Metal body available in white.
