Manual focus wide normal lens made for R-mount 35mm SLR cameras introduced by Leica in 1977. This is the second version of the lens and was produced in Germany by Leitz Wetzlar. It uses a new 6-element optical formula that improved contrast and resolution. The body became smaller and lighter and changed the filter mount to E55 screw-in filters. It also incorporated a built-in lens hood. This lens has a 3-Cam mount. 3-Cam lenses have two sloped cams and a third stepped cam and are compatible with all Leicaflex and R-series cameras. Metal body available in black (11115).
