Manual focus M-mount 35mm rangefinder camera introduced by Leica in 1980. The M4-P is similar to the M4-2, but it adds frame lines for 28mm and 75mm in the viewfinder. The frame line pairs are now as follows: 28/90mm, 50/75mm, and 35/135mm with a magnification of 0.72x. Early models were fitted with a brass top plate with inset windows, while later models switched to a zinc cast plate with flush windows akin to the M6. Metal body available in black (10415).
