Condition

Rescue:

Tested, inspected and found to have flaws that affect typical use. As-is condition or to be used with special consideration. Can show wear due to the nature of used items, for specific details, see the item photos and staff notes.

Staff Notes

The aperture does not close down past f4. The focus ring is a bit uneven and the front lens barrel is a bit loose. There is moderate separation and dust inside the lens that will slightly affect image quality. It shows moderate external wear but otherwise works normally.

Nikon 105mm f2.5 Nikkor-P Auto AI'd (Early) - Lens

Manual focus telephoto lens made for F-mount 35mm SLR cameras by Nikon. This model has been modified by Nikon or a previous owner to have the AI ridge necessary for communicating aperture information to most manual Nikon cameras. It has the bunny ear metering prongs and AI ridge, but no AI-S indent, so it will meter properly on all manual Nikon cameras, but won't work with the advanced program modes of later models. This is the earlier version with a silver lens barrel and a slightly different optical formula. Metal body available in black/silver.
