Eastman Kodak Ektacolor Pro 800 (120)

KODAK EKTACOLOR PRO 800 is a high-speed professional daylight-balanced colour negative film designed for natural-light photography and situations where extra sensitivity is needed. It offers excellent low-light performance while maintaining natural skin tones, balanced colours, smooth tonal reproduction and wide exposure latitude.

High speed and natural colours

The higher ISO speed gives photographers greater flexibility as light levels drop, allowing faster shutter speeds and handheld shooting without sacrificing the natural colour palette characteristic of the EKTACOLOR PRO range. It is particularly well suited to event, wedding, documentary, travel, street and other natural-light photography.

KODAK EKTACOLOR PRO 800 has similar characteristics to KODAK PROFESSIONAL PORTRA 800 within the Kodak Alaris product range.

What is the difference between the different Kodak manufacturers?

Historically, Eastman Kodak manufactured Kodak photographic film, while Kodak Alaris was responsible for its marketing and distribution. From the beginning of 2026, Eastman Kodak returned directly to the still film market, ending Kodak Alaris' exclusive distribution rights. As a result, some films manufactured by Eastman Kodak are now entering the market through two different Kodak channels.
