Leica 250mm f4 Telyt-R - Lens

Leica 250mm f4 Telyt-R (Type I) (2-Cam) (11920) - Lens

Manual focus telephoto lens made for R-mount 35mm SLR cameras introduced by Leica in 1970. Leica made two versions of this lens. This is the first version identifiable by its name ring around the front element, long minimum focus distance of 4/4.5m, and use of Series VIII / 72mm filters. This lens has a 2-Cam mount. 2-Cam lenses have two sloped cams and are compatible with the standard Leicaflex and R-series cameras in stop-down metering mode only. They are not recommended to be used on the R8/R9. Around the same time as this lens was introduced in a 3-Cam mount, the minimum focus distance was changed to 4m. Metal body available in black (11920).
