Average Certified condition price
Manual focus normal lens made for M-mount rangefinder cameras introduced by Leica in 1979. Leica made many different versions of the 5cm f2 Summicron that differ in both design and optical formula. This is the fourth model of the lens and was a recomputed version of the earlier six-element type III. It was produced in both Germany & Canada and was the final 50mm Summicron to not have a built-in lens hood. It exhibits variation in the shape of the focusing lever, location of the serial number, and style of engraving. Metal body available in black (11819).
