Manual focus telephoto lens made for R-mount 35mm SLR cameras introduced by Leica in 1980. It has a built-in lens hood and a 30-degree angle of view. The use of new highly refractive glass types allowed for significant weight reduction and resulted in this lens only being slightly heavier than the 90mm f2, even with the extra stop of light transmission. This lens has a 3rd Cam (R Cam) mount. 3rd Cam lenses only have the third stepped cam as seen on the 3-Cam version. They are compatible with R-series cameras only and will not fit the Leicaflex cameras. Metal body available in black (11881).
