Manual focus wide-angle lens made for R-mount 35mm SLR cameras introduced by Leica in 1974. The optical formula was designed by Minolta. It uses a floating elements design to ensure optimal performance throughout the entire focusing range. This lens has a ROM Cam mount. ROM Cam lenses have a stepped cam like on the 3rd-Cam plus electronic contacts. They are compatible with all R-series cameras. The electronic contacts are only supported on the R8/R9. They will not fit Leicaflex cameras. Metal body available in black (11331).
