Manual focus wide-angle perspective correction lens made for R-mount 35mm SLR cameras introduced by Leica in 1988. The optical axis can be displaced by 11mm horizontally or vertically and 9.5mm diagonally. The lens uses an optical design created by Schneider-Kreuznach that features a floating element group at the front of the lens. It uses a special screw-in lens hood (12540) that also acts as a filter holder. The aperture is not connected to the camera, but the bayonet still has the 3rd Cam. 3rd Cam (R Cam) lenses only have the third stepped cam as seen on the 3-Cam version. They are compatible with R-series cameras only and will not fit the Leicaflex cameras. Metal body available in black (11812).
