Manual focus normal lens made for M-mount rangefinder cameras introduced by Leica in 1958. This was an updated version of the f3.5 version from 1954. It now uses lanthanum crown glass, which permits a 50% increase in speed. Early examples are engraved "5cm" and have the distance scale in either feet or meters. Later ones are engraved "50" (for 50mm) and have the distance scale in both feet and meters. Metal body available in silver (11112).
