Autofocus G-mount 35mm hybrid rangefinder camera released by Contax in 1994. The camera uses a rangefinder-esque passive autofocus system, and the viewfinder automatically crops based on which lens is attached. Earlier models, known as "Gray Label" G1s, are incompatible with certain lenses (21mm f2.8 & 35mm f2) introduced during the lifespan of the Contax G2. Later models, known as "Green Label" cameras, have been upgraded to work with all G-mount lenses. Titanium body available in champagne.
