Autofocus ultra-telephoto lens made for F-mount (D)SLR cameras by Nikon. Announced in 2007, this lens was the first 600mm lens in Nikon's lineup with vibration reduction. It has a separate tripod mode for the VR function. The focus is handled internally, and the lens can set and recall a previous focusing distance. It uses 52mm rear-mounted filters on a frame that is then inserted inside the lens. Magnesium body in black finish.
