Staff Notes

The hot shoe does not work. The plastic window for the overexposure light is missing. It has fungus, dust, and haze inside the viewfinder. The fungus has been UV-treated to neutralize it and prevent its spread. The focus is a bit uneven. The camera needs new light seals.

Yashica Electro 35 GSN - Camera

Manual focus 35mm rangefinder camera released by Yashica in 1973. It has aperture priority exposure with automatic shutter speeds. The rangefinder is coupled to the focusing ring and the viewfinder is parallax corrected. The GSN model added a hot shoe while retaining the PC flash sync port. It uses a PX32 5.6v mercury battery but modern alkaline batteries can be adapted. Metal body available in satin chrome finish.
