Manual focus M-mount 35mm rangefinder camera released by Leica in 1978. The M4-2 is manufactured entirely by Leitz Canada. It is similar to the M4 but lacks the self-timer, has a hot shoe, and is designed to accept a motor winder. It has a finder magnification of 0.72x and frame lines for 35mm, 50mm, 90mm, and 135mm lenses. The M4-2 experienced many variations in the type and placement of engravings over the production period. Metal body available in black (10410).
