Average Certified condition price
Manual focus wide normal lens made for LTM M39 thread mount 35mm rangefinder cameras by Leica starting in 1958. The introduction of this lens completed the "Summicron Team" of 35mm, 50mm, and 90mm lenses. Only 577 units were produced for the thread mount between 1958 and 1963. It uses E39 screw-on filters and the IROOA or 12585 lens hood. It is sometimes referred to as the "8-element lens" (though mostly when discussing the bayonet version). The lens was produced in both Germany and Canada. Metal body available in silver (SAWOO / 11008).
