KODAK EKTACHROME E100 is a daylight-balanced colour reversal film with a nominal speed of ISO 100, designed for processing in the E-6 system. It is characterised by extremely fine grain, accurate colour reproduction, moderately enhanced colour saturation and excellent scanability.

Positive film with accurate and natural colours

Unlike colour negative film, EKTACHROME E100 produces a positive transparency. Its neutral tonal range is designed to reproduce natural skin tones and smooth greys while maintaining good detail in both shadows and highlights. The combination of fine grain, colour accuracy and excellent scanning characteristics makes it well suited to travel, landscape, editorial and other applications where the distinctive look of slide film is desired.

What is the difference between the different Kodak manufacturers?

Historically, Eastman Kodak manufactured Kodak photographic film, while Kodak Alaris was responsible for its marketing and distribution. From the beginning of 2026, Eastman Kodak returned directly to the photographic film market, ending Kodak Alaris' exclusive distribution rights. As a result, some films manufactured by Eastman Kodak are now entering the market through two different Kodak channels.
