It has a lot of small scratches under the front element that will affect image quality by lowering contrast slightly. It also has some larger particles inside that might lower contrast in some situations. The lens is otherwise in good working condition.

Leica 135mm f2.8 Elmarit-R (Type I) (2-Cam) (11211) - Lens

Manual focus telephoto lens made for R-mount 35mm SLR cameras introduced by Leica in 1964. Leica made two versions of this lens. This is the first version that has a concave rear element; on the second version, the element is convex. Both versions use the same body but experience minor discrepancies in engravings. It has a built-in lens hood. This lens has a 2-Cam mount. 2-Cam lenses have two sloped cams and are compatible with the standard Leicaflex and R-series cameras in stop-down metering mode only. They are not recommended to be used on the R8/R9. The lens was manufactured in both Germany and Canada. Metal body available in black (11211).
